50 Hour Yoga Student Course Level 2

  • Yoga Energy With Katie Raheny Road Dublin 5, D, D05 FN34 Ireland (map)

Level 2 is for the student who is ready to go deeper.

Not through doing more,
but through understanding more.

This course builds on the foundations of Level 1 and begins to explore the more subtle aspects of yoga, how it supports your energy, your hormones, your cycles, and your overall way of living.

This is not a teacher training.
There is no focus on teaching others.

This is about refining your personal practice so it truly supports you.

Who This Is For

This course is for you if you:

  • Have completed Level 1 (or have a solid foundation in yoga)

  • Want to understand your body and energy more deeply

  • Are curious about the deeper layers of yoga beyond the physical

  • Want a practice that evolves with your life, not against it

  • Feel there is more to yoga than shapes and sequences

What You’ll Explore

The Subtle Body & Koshas

We explore the Koshas, the layers of the self, moving beyond the physical body into a deeper understanding of how we experience life.

This brings more awareness, compassion, and depth to your practice.

Kriyas & Shat Kriyas

An introduction to yogic cleansing practices.

These are approached in a grounded, accessible way, supporting clarity, balance, and the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore.

Breath & Deeper Pranayama

Building on your foundations, we explore more advanced pranayama practices.

You’ll learn how breath influences:

  • The nervous system

  • Energy levels

  • Mental clarity

And more importantly, when and how to use these practices in your daily life.

The Endocrine System

A deeper look at the body’s hormonal system and how yoga can support balance.

We explore the relationship between:

  • Stress

  • Rest

  • Movement

  • Breath

And how these directly impact your overall wellbeing.

Menstrual Cycle Awareness

Understanding your cycle as a guide, not a limitation.

We explore how to adapt your practice across different phases of the cycle, learning when to:

  • Build energy

  • Slow down

  • Rest

  • Restore

This is about working with your body, not against it.

Menopause (Guest Teacher Session)

A dedicated session led by a guest teacher focusing on menopause.

This will offer guidance, education, and support for navigating this phase of life, with practical ways yoga can help you feel more steady, supported, and informed.

Ayurveda (Guest Teacher)

An introduction to Ayurveda as a sister science to yoga.

You’ll learn about:

  • Doshas (your constitution)

  • Daily rhythms

  • How to support your digestion, energy, and lifestyle

This section is led by a guest teacher, bringing additional depth and expertise.

Seasons & Cyclical Living

Exploring the connection between:

  • The seasons of the year

  • Your internal cycles

  • Natural rhythms of energy and rest

This brings a deeper sense of timing and alignment to your practice.

Philosophy: The Kleshas

We explore the Kleshas, the root causes of suffering, in a way that is practical and relatable.

This work helps you recognise patterns, respond with awareness, and move through life with more clarity.

Yoga Anatomy (Deeper Study)

Building on Level 1, we refine your understanding of the body with a focus on:

  • Sustainable movement

  • Intelligent practice

  • Long-term support for your body

Integration & Personal Practice

This course is about integration.

You will continue to develop a practice that:

  • Adapts to your energy and life

  • Supports your nervous system

  • Evolves as you do

Yoga becomes less about doing,
and more about listening.

A Different Kind of Depth

Throughout the course, we’ll weave in teachings from the Bhagavad Gita and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, exploring how these traditional texts offer practical insight into discipline, balance, energy, and the deeper purpose of practice.

You don’t need to push harder.
You don’t need to go deeper physically.

You need to understand what your body is asking for,
and learn how to respond.

This Is For You If…

You’re ready to:

Slow down and listen
Understand your patterns
Honour your cycles
Build a practice that sustains you
