Terms & Conditions - Yoga Student Training.
1. Agreement
By booking a place on the Yoga Student Training, you are entering into an agreement with Yoga Energy with Katie.
Your place is confirmed once your booking is received and a deposit or full payment has been made. You will receive confirmation once your place is secured.
2. About This Training
This training is designed for those who wish to deepen their personal practice and understanding of yoga.
While you will gain knowledge, experience, and a strong foundation, this course does not provide a professional teaching qualification.
3. Course Structure (Level 1 & Level 2)
This training is delivered over two separate modules:
Level 1 – 50 hours
Level 2 – 50 hours
Each level is booked and paid for separately.
By enrolling in Level 1, you are not committing to Level 2. However, continuing on to Level 2 is highly recommended for those who wish to deepen their understanding and integration of the practice.
4. Progression to Level 2
To enrol in Level 2, you must have:
Completed Level 1, or
Demonstrated a strong foundation in yoga along with a consistent and steady self-practice
If you have not completed Level 1, you may apply directly to Katie to be considered for Level 2. Eligibility will be assessed on an individual basis.
Completion of Level 1 does not automatically guarantee progression to Level 2, places are based on a first come first served basis.
5. Bookings & Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place
Full payment must be completed before the course begins (unless a payment plan is agreed)
Payment plans are a commitment to pay the full course fee
Level 1 and Level 2 each require separate booking and deposit. A place on Level 1 does not guarantee a place on Level 2.
By booking, you agree to the full stated cost of the training.
6. Cooling-Off Period
If you book online, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
However:
If the training begins within this 14-day period and you choose to attend, you agree to waive your right to a full refund
If any course content has been accessed, a partial refund may be issued to reflect what has already been provided
7. Cancellation Policy
Deposits are non-refundable (outside of the 14-day cooling-off period)
If you cancel:
More than 30 days before the start date → remaining balance may be refunded
Within 30 days → no refund
Once the training has begun, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
8. Attendance & Participation
You are encouraged to attend all sessions to receive the full benefit of the training.
However:
You are responsible for your own attendance
Missed sessions may not be recoverable
No specific outcome is guaranteed
This training values consistency, curiosity, and personal engagement.
9. Health & Personal Responsibility
This training is open to all bodies and levels of experience. You are welcome to participate in a way that works for you. If you have any specific access needs or would like to discuss how this training can support you, you are welcome to get in touch in advance.
By attending, you agree to:
Inform the teacher of any injuries, health conditions, or accessibility needs that may be relevant to your participation
Take responsibility for how you engage with the practices
Listen to your body and adapt, rest, or opt out whenever needed
You are encouraged to move at your own pace and in a way that feels supportive for you.
10. Emotional Wellbeing & Support
This training may invite personal reflection, which can sometimes bring up emotional responses.
You are encouraged to:
Stay aware of your own emotional wellbeing
Share if something feels important or relevant
Take space or rest when needed
You are always welcome to share where you’re at, but you are never required to process anything before you’re ready.
While this is a supportive environment, it is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care.
If you are experiencing challenges beyond what this space can hold, it is your responsibility to seek appropriate support.
11. Liability
All practices are undertaken at your own discretion.
Yoga Energy with Katie is not liable for:
Injuries sustained during or after the training
Loss or damage to personal belongings
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Irish law.
12. Code of Conduct
This is a shared and respectful space. By attending, you agree to:
Respect the teacher and other participants
Arrive on time and be present
Engage with the training in a sincere and respectful way
If behaviour is disruptive or inappropriate, you may be asked to leave the training. In this case, no refund will be issued.
13. Changes to the Training
In rare circumstances, changes may be necessary.
This may include adjustments to:
Schedule
Content
Location or delivery format
If the training is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be issued.
14. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, and teachings remain the property of Yoga Energy with Katie.
They are provided for your personal use only.
You may not reproduce, share, or teach this material as your own.
15. Privacy (GDPR)
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with GDPR.
Your details will only be used for course-related communication
Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent
16. Final Notes
This training is an invitation into practice.
There are no guarantees of outcomes, only the opportunity to:
Show up
Learn
Reflect
Integrate
What you take from it will depend on your own engagement.
