Cycle with the Moon
Probably since the beginning of time, people have looked to the moon for guidance. The full moon is said to be a time of abundance and the dark moon is a time of surrender.
Lunar energy has always been associated with feminine energy. The lunar cycle is 29.5 days which is very similar to the average length of a menstrual cycle 28days. So if you have a menstrual cycle you can look to the moon for guidance, there is no need to try an copy it!
If you don't have a menstrual cycle, for what ever reason you can follow the phases of the moon in order to live in line with a more feminine approach to all aspects of your life, using the full moon to feel abundant and the dark moon to surrender and let go of any aspect of your life that is not serving you.
You can check out the current moon phase on www.TimeandDate.com/moon/phases/ and you can start tracking your own unique cycle in line with the current moon phase in the Anú Rising Cycle Journal to see what patterns and characteristics arise from within.

Cycle with your Womb
Many people track their cycle so they know when they are going to bleed. This can be important, however there are 4 stages in the cycle and it's important to know what to expect in each stage. For many years now, menstruators have been expected to perform physically and mentally with the same intensity every day. However, you are not the same every day and forcing yourselves to be the same every day is not beneficial to your physical, mental or spiritual health. Tracking how you feel everyday will give you insight into how to navigate all the challenges that life brings.
You can use the Anú Rising journal to track how you feel daily and over the course of a few months, you will start to become aware of your patterns and will therefore be able to plan your life accordingly.
You can track your cycle like so...
Day 1 is when you start to bleed each month. Most people bleed for 3-7 days. It may be slightly shorter or longer time for you, especially at the start until you find your own unique rhytm.
You count each day that you are bleeding and all the days afterward, which will usually be around 28 days in length. Then when you start your next bleed, you will start from day 1 again.
